To embrace the beauty of our creations is to embrace the idea of Variety.  Most of the pain we experience is caused by the idea that our creations need to be a certain way or a certain style so they can be perceived as beautiful and therefore accepted. This idea can truly block us from allowing ourselves to express authentically and uniquely.

What we can do if we find ourselves in this trap is to start to view our creations and other people’s creations like unique flavors.

We may all agree that chocolate cake tastes good.  This flavor may be considered to be good nearly unanimously, but it does not mean that cancels out the rest. It is not the only flavor on earth that is good. And it would not be interesting at all if only one flavour existed. Right? Each flavour is different, unique and beautiful in its own way.

When we start to look our creations and even ourselves like a unique flavor, we quickly realise that not all people have the same taste about what is beautiful. Our preferences are unique to each individual and can vary widely from person to person. Some people prefer certain flavours and have a strong aversion to others. Because this can be a subjective experience, it is often said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Our work is to own our unique flavor and see that there are people who will choose it, want to try it, celebrate it, see the beauty in it, and value it.

This painting helps you remember the importance of your own flavor and trust your ability to create beauty. It comes as an activator of the impact of your flavor that has on the overall picture of that we are creating here on this planet.
